July 4th Beach Elopement

The word for 2020 was ELOPEMENT! While some people were celebrating Independence Day on July 4th this year, these two were celebrating an amazing love story. Although the pandemic created an obstacle for their big wedding, they did not let that get them down. These 2 met on July 4 and they were engaged on July 4 so it only seemed fitting that they married on July 4. They did have to postpone the big party but they didn’t want to wait even one more minute for Brandon to adopt Justice’s 6-year-old daughter. It was such an honor to be a part of such an intimate part of their lives and create such a memorable moment.

Shannon from Heart Wedding Decor and I were peeking out from the trees and we noticed a boat. There was a boat that was celebrating and they stopped to watch the ceremony from the water. When the moment came for Brandon to kiss Justice everyone on the boat began to cheer. Everyone was so excited. Just as the couple was signing the marriage license we noticed the boat coming closer to shore. Brandon went to say hi and the group actually gave Justice and Brandon a small bottle of champagne! It’s these moments of these trying times when I realize that there is good out there.
