All About Me – Owner/Lead Planner & Designer
Event organization and customer service have always been a big part of my life, so it is only fitting that I opened my own wedding planning business. I mean who doesn’t want to be their own boss right?
I was born in Charlevoix and moved to the Upper Peninsula at the age of 5 where I was raised and began my schooling but Charlevoix has always been home to me. Shortly after starting a family, I made the decision to move back home to Charlevoix, and there I started my career as a Venue Coordinator at Castle Farms. This put me in a position as the go-to person during events and wedding receptions. I coordinated many weddings and even planned some of the Castle Farms sponsored events. I would also assist in the Wedding Office by contacting vendors for upcoming weddings and giving them useful information about the set-up. This naturally led me to start my own planning business as I found I truly loved the design process as well as working closely with vendors and couples.
My degree in Business Administration with a minor in Events Planning has lent itself well to the multiple events I have planned and I have found my niche in wedding planning and design. My approach to design is very personal and I will work alongside you to create something that is uniquely you. I love to tell your love story through your design and by showcasing the amazing beauty of Northern Michigan.
While I truly enjoy working with all my couples, I do leave time for some fun outside of the workday. With four kids, two dogs and a chinchilla, my home life is nothing short of exciting. When I’m not working on timelines and creating mood boards, I absolutely love watching musicals with a glass wine. I love Starbucks and unicorns are my spirit animal.
